Inetum, the European leader in digital services, and the Kingdom of Morocco have signed a MoU concerning a project to expand the group's activities in Morocco, with the aim of creating 1,500 jobs by 2027.

Jacques Pommeraud, Chairman and CEO of the Inetum Group (European leader in digital services); Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies; and Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, have announced the signing of a MoU concerning a project to extend the Inetum group's activities to several Moroccan cities, with the aim of creating 1,500 jobs by 2027, for a projected investment of over 50 million dirhams (5 million Euros).

The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration between the Inetum Group and the Kingdom of Morocco to achieve common strategic objectives: One of these objectives is to support Morocco's digital transition by investing in state-of-the-art technologies, developing innovative services and creating high skilled jobs.

A new chapter for Inetum in Morocco

Inetum has been operating in Morocco since 2003, supporting companies in their digital transformation by offering complete project management, from design to implementation and maintenance. Inetum disposes of a FabLab in Casablanca (inaugurated in 2021) to help customers innovate and discover the latest technological advances, such as generative artificial intelligence.

This series of initiatives reaffirms Inetum's position as a leader committed to Morocco's technological and economic development. The investment is aimed at developing nearshore operations, improving customer service with a better investment/efficiency ratio, and accelerating the integration of Generative AI for all types of customers. It also aims to support local growth in IT requirements, in line with the country's economic development. This initiative will enable Inetum to develop local services for its customers.

Inetum currently employs 800 people in Morocco, and is planning a massive and inclusive recruitment program, with the creation of 1,500 jobs by 2027 for engineers and graduates from top management schools in the Casablanca region and other regions in the process of qualification.
