Mission

Our work evolves around Expert Systems, which are IT components, in a basic if-then-else language, that simulate the reasoning of a human expert based on provided knowledge on a specific Business field. We are looking for a colleague that would help us and all our clients in a Project of  Recoding Expert System Rules.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the needed recoding to perform for the Expert Systems of each client
  • Recoding the necessary rules already existing in the expert systems in such a way that tracing of the finest decision reasons would be possible via the log files for analysis purposes
  • Testing that the recoding performed is functionning properly and that it is not negatively impacting other existing rules
  • Updating the recoding if during Business-as-Usual tasks, there are changes performed by other colleagues
  • Extracting data from the historical logs of the Expert Systems, adding the new recoded information by running the recodified Expert Systems on the historical logs and provide these extractions to analysis teams
  • Training/Explaining to the entire Expert System team the new way of coding the rules and what to perform on the regular tasks (in Business-as-Usual mode) when changing/adding rules in the Expert Systems

Profile

  • Universities from the economic or mathematical background are preferred (e.g. Cybernetics, Mathematics etc.)
  • Proficient in the MS Office package with a high degree of logical thinking, because our Expert Systems are written in basic language (if-then-else statements)
  • English advanced (B1/B2 minimum), French is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and synthetize, attention to details/rigor and autonomy
  • Dynamic and proactive with excellent cooperation skills , experience of work transversally with several teams
