Mission

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues within the network.
  • Ensure network security by enforcing policies, managing permissions, and monitoring activity.
  • Back up data and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of a failure or breach.
  • The Linux Administrator is responsible for maintaining the systems and servers of the Linux operating system. includes installing, configuring and supporting Linux based physical and virtual servers and deploying and testing Linux operating systems including updates, patches and performance tuning.
  • Maintaining the stability, performance, and security of computer systems andapplications (including Vmware and Veeam)
  • Good knowledge of cloud service platforms like AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure
  • Configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software
  • Installing and configuring operating systems and applications
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  • Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues
  • Providing technical support to users

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science
  • 5+ years experience building, deploying, and maintaining Linux-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with Linux server administration
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, firewall configuration, and VPN
  • Familiarity with security tools and best practices
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot system issues
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
