Mission

  • We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization techniques.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enhance data interpretation, decision-making processes, and business performance.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • You will also be responsible for creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.
  • You should have a background in data and business analysis and be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we would like to meet you.

Profile

  • At least 4 years of experience in data/reporting management and dashboard creation
  • Familiarity with BI technologies
  • ITIL foundation
  • Background in data warehouse design and data mining
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, in Oracle, SQL Server or another relational database
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Deep skills in SQL and Relational data model (used in previous working experience) 
  • Basic Unix/Linux System Administrator
  • Oracle Data Definition Language
  • Experience in Data Analysis and data representation
  • Analytic and process analysis skills
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain PowerBI solutions.
  • Craft and execute queries upon request for data.
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications.
  • Develop and update technical documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
  • MS Office reports-Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Managing the new reporting and dashboards demands and customers
  • Designing the overall reporting infrastructure and its evolution (back-end and web components).
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis, initiating and managing Service Improvement projects

Professional Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
  • Good statistical and visual representation skills
  • Basic Linux OS and Network knowledge
  • MS Excel, Power Point and/or VBA for all chart, analysis and automation functions are also nice to have
  • Basic Oracle DBA Administrator skills or other relational database skills
  • Power BI certification is a plus
