Mission

  • The Fortinet Lead candidate will be responsible for technical consultancy in operations, configuration and design, supporting SD-WAN/SASE Fortinet solutions and services to Enterprise customers
  • He provides the detailed technical design and develop complex customer solutions for high-profile accounts
  • The Fortinet Lead candidate will provide advice, strategies, and solutions to specific challenges or goals related to Fortinet products and services having a proven track record of delivering exceptional cybersecurity solutions to organizations
  • The Fortinet Lead candidate will be responsible for the technical design, validation, and technical support on Fortinet Features being deployed as part of customer solutions
  • The Fortinet Lead candidate will be aware of latest technologies, trends, and capabilities of Fortinet vendor in technology/security sector
  • Provide consulting assessments for new and existing customers
  • Ownership of the technical solution from concept to subsequent implementation
  • Advice and propose improvements to achieve best in class services, based on Fortinet technology
  • Ensure E2E solution consultancy including ability to manage solution in lifecycle (moves, changes, e.g. capacity increases)
  • Develop detailed technical solutions that will deliver optimum resolution for complex customer requirements
  • Develop operating concept for final approval and execution by responsible departments
  • Self-starter with a clear can-do mentality, ability to work under pressure from both customers and internal stakeholders and produces solutions that are deliverable, strong commercial acumen
  • Upskilling the teams on Fortinet technical skillset (operations, configuration and design)
  • Technical escalation contact for assurance, provide and design teams in complex solutions
  • Support technical design to ensure all required information is present and correct
  • Involved in technical discussions with Products and Platforms Engineering (PPE) for Fortinet rollout across the SDN domainTranslation of Technical requirements into a format suitable for the vendor specific Fortinet configuration tool(s)
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed as per the required schedule to avoid and delays in roll-out schedules
  • Design and validation of newly provided services to ensure they are implemented and working as expected
  • Support complex changes to the service (adhering to change-management process), validating and ensuring changes will have no impact to the service or security posture of the solution or the policy compliance
  • Provide feedback, assistance, and guidance from a technological and process perspective, to enhance and improve customer experience

Perfil

  • Minimum of 12 years of technical experience in IT/Network and Security operations
  • Proven expertise/experience in Fortinet Security technology
  • Knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN and Firewall configuration
  • Knowledge of SASE security functions, Next-Gen FW, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), FWaaS, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
  • Strong understanding of Network technologies (SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, TCP/UDP)
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of Cyber Defense best practices - Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based, migration strategies, and comprehensive security management
  • Positive team player attitude, ability to collaboratively address any complex issues
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Desirable:

  • Vendor specific Security qualifications (e.g., NSE4-7, CCNP Security)
  • Knowledge of both Mobile and Fixed Networks
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure)
  • Security and IT qualifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, ITILv3, CISM, CCSP)
  • Understanding of SW Development, DevOps, and API methodology

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Relevant University degree in Networking,
  • Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of the enterprise technology market
  • Experience of design and/or implementation and roll out of telecoms or security services, preferably gained in an international environment/global context
