Mission

  • Participate in the hands on test creation, automated execution, analysis and reporting of functional and non-functional testing activities
  • Work on tasks identified in the testing & strategy and plan them accordingly
  • Responsible for the accurate recording of defects and the collation of metrics and KPI information for reporting purposes
  • Work with the project team to identify and capture test automation and tooling needs
  • Properly identify and provide solutions to verify non-functional requirements
  • Actively participate in the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks
  • Closely work with the Engineering teams to ensure a high automation level across processes and define automation scope
  • Perform test automation executions, identify failures’ root cause and provide subsequent reports
  • Adhere to test automation best practices as defined at organization level      
  • Drive automation-focused test strategy
  • Be a pro-active self-starter with a structured and solution-oriented mind-set
  • Be accountable for adequate activity and information management in Confluence and Jira
  • 4+ years overall software testing experience
  • 3+ years test automation experience

Profil

  •  Experience with test and defects management tools (JIRA, HP ALM)
  • Exposure to DevOps (CI/CD) approach using Jenkins, TeamCity or similar
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver / RemoteWebDriver
  • Good understanding of Web Services/API testing (SOAP, REST) using Postman, SOAP UI
  • Proven experience of performance testing
  • Experience with API automation testing, that would support increasing and identifying critical backend issues.
  • Good understanding of database models and SQL experience
  • Exposure to IDE such as Eclipse or InteliJ
  • Exposure to git based version control systems, including configuration and maintenance
  • Basic understanding of Unix environments (RedHat) and basic knowledge of shell scripting (bash)
  • Hands on recent experience with JAVA and unit testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit  is a plus
  • Good understanding of transfer protocols (SSH, RDP, ICA, HTTP, SFTP, FTP, SCP) and related tools, esp. MSTSC.EXE, PUTTY, OpenLDAP is a plus
  • Exposure to activity management using tools such as Atlassian JIRA
  • Exposure to documentation in Atlassian Confluence
  • Exposure to Scrum methodology and agile environments
  • Exposure to software development lifecycles (SDLC) in enterprises
  • Exposure to process work-flow tools (ServiceNow) and ticketing systems
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure architecture
  • Experience working with virtual and global teams in matrix organisations
  • Intercultural awareness
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and on senior management level

Nice to have:

  • At least 6 years working experience in a Testing position, in the area of controlled production environments, ideally in Financial Services
  • Proven experience in engineering of complex application and infrastructure domains
  • Proven experience with management of digital identities, accounts and access is a plus
  • Relevant hands-on experience in cyber security frameworks, (regulatory) standards and methodologies esp. privileged access management is a plus
  • Experience with deployment management tools like Nexus/Squares, Bitbucket, CertNanny is a plus
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or IT-related discipline (or equivalent work experience or diploma
