Inetum implements Financial Planning and Analysis solution at BIAL
Inetum, a digital services and solutions company, leader in SAP solutions, announces the successful completion of the project to implement the SAP Analytics Cloud Planning tool at BIAL, one of the main Portuguese pharmaceutical companies. The project represents a significant milestone in the company's digital transformation.

BIAL, a pharmaceutical company focused on Research & Development, witnessed, over the course of 10 months, a restructuring process of its internal SAP systems, which involved all planning areas of its business.
Using the advanced resources of the SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solution, Inetum was able to fully integrate different types of planning tools, such as forecasting, planning and budgeting, with flexible multi-level approval structures specific to BIAL's needs. Furthermore, a bidirectional integration was carried out with an external non- SAP system and user-configurable calculation automation rules were implemented.

BIAL's budgeting processes were redefined, allowing for a complete redesign of the approval flow. Automations and a monitoring cockpit were introduced, which provides BIAL's internal Support Unit with a comprehensive tool to manage all stages of the budgeting process. This cockpit allows you to send forms, monitor the status, resolve problems, create backups, generate pre-filled forms, check the approval flow, send parameter reset requests, execute automation, among other features.
