Inetum announces the appointment of Suzel Caldas to the position of Chief People Officer (CPO) in Portugal. With more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) management and development in the Information Technology sector, Suzel Caldas will be responsible for all operational HR activities of the company in the country. This appointment comes in a year in which the company has already hired 345 new employees, by October 2024, approaching the estimated target of 400 new hires for this year.
Suzel Caldas will be in charge of managing and transforming areas such as attraction, talent development, career management, compensation and benefits, as well as diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, in a universe of more than 2,000 employees. Her appointment reinforces Inetum Portugal's commitment to investing in its human capital and building a solid and inclusive business culture.

Suzel Caldas will report directly to Pedro Gomes Santos, CEO of Inetum Portugal, and Mónica Herrero Fernández, Chief People Officer of the Iberia & Latam area. With a degree in Social and Organizational Psychology from ISCTE and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management and Human Resources Development from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education, Suzel Caldas has a notable professional trajectory in the IT sector. She began her career at IBM, managing training programs, and later took on leadership roles in people management at companies such as Softinsa, Truphone and Kyndryl.
