Biometric and Intelligence Applications​

Every day, our society carries out large amounts of civil and police processes in which a rapid and effective identification or identity verification of citizens is needed. The analysis of the biometric features of fingerprints is, nowadays, the most effective non-invasive means of identifying people in a unique and reliable way.

​Likewise, the increasing digitization of our society creates new needs to be able to sign digital documents without personal electronic certificates, just using our handwritten signature, and maintaining the security levels of Advanced Electronic Signatures, in which both the signer and the signed document remain linked in a unique way, avoiding the possibilities of changing the document after its signature, copying the signature to other documents, or repudiating the signature afterwards. Capturing the signer’s biometrics features at the time of signing on touch devices makes it possible to achieve this degree of security when signing documents without paper.

Inetum has been researching and developing software solutions based on fingerprint and handwritten signature biometrics for more than 20 years, to provide a response in continuous evolution and improvement to the needs of our society, both in the scope of private companies and in the scope of public administrations like police forces, penitentiary institutions or production of identity documents, adapting our solutions to the specific needs of our customers.
